3rd: It's a farce.
The first 26 (!) Places and Place 28 are wrong. Place 27 is a correct time (I'm wondering).
The fastest TMX- Time is 0:45.89, so every time faster than 0:4x:xx must be incorrect.

I have an Idea to identify corrupt records.
It seems that you have a good contact to TMX, so I think it isn't impossible, that the TMX-Team give you a function where you can poll the best TMX-Record by UNID of the track if there is one.
Sure, there are many tracks outside without a tmx record but I think you'll find many corrupt records by that way.
Just my 2 cents.

Once the validation replay will be used, after some time it will become easier to remove lot of bad records.

Hey. I was wondering if you guys could help me remove my own record. It's set by using cp-hack. It was just for testing, so I thought it would be ok if I just deleted the record on the local server when I was finished. But the it's still in dedi, and I don't want to look like a cheater, as I've never used hacks before and won't do it again.

Hi Slig, I was just browsing records and came upon this by accident. It is the top 30 T/A records for Ahead is a blur by Irondragons, http://dedimania.com/tmstats/?do=stat&a … ow=RECORDS

Out of the top 30 records in time attack only 13 appear to be legitimate. Many have 0 or 1 cp's recorded with impossible times to match (cp hacks), and several more have 8 cp's out of 5/5 with too fast times (must have been a bad connection or dediserver map mismatch)

The first 7 records on this Map have no checkpoints and the times are impossible for this track.
I haven't found this track at TMX to compare the times with a valid replay
There are some other Records with possible times from early 2007 too. Seems to be a Server-failure at this period...

In such case where the number of cp for the map was false (or partially false, here it was 1/15, so 1 cp in TA), it should better be indicated there : http://dedimania.com/SITE/forum/viewtopic.php?id=149 . And indicate the real number of cp, and also preferably give a link to get the map so that it can be verified.

OK what do you think about some helping hands i am running now 9 TMNF/U Servers on my root server and it sucks to see as an admin that on 90% of the maps running on your servers dedimania system is stupid to display on the server because you see only cheat recs.

pls think about access for some helping hands to clean up the cheat recs, i help you if you want that, because it makes me not happy when i see all the cheatrecs on the maps. that are very popular on my servers.

i just can say BBMV is right! Zero also has the Problem. And i also would help you if you need help. All famous maps in Dedimania are cheated. For example the Swensen Minis. Actually i made a list with all hacked swensen dedis. So i f you need some helping hands so ask me and BBMV
