Dedimania forum

Usually such effect happens when you drive in a round that has started before the script was launched. Are you sure that you still get it on the next map ?
It probably can happen also if you disconnect before you game has sent the replay to the server.

Anyway, depending on how the dedicated and the script handle things, if you disconnect or disconnect/connect multiple times during the same map, it may do strange things.

well some was faster:D was about to ask the same cause i met some ppl who talked about it. i guess this was by accident via the scans ( i hope). restoring this rec would be nice cause its not that easy to repeat it.(login.stephaneneves) u might need it.

Dunno, probably an accident indeed, but I can't find it in recent logs. To dig further, it would help to know how long ago (which date) was it still present in the records list. Can you pinpoint it?

Within a round, Dedis are provisionally reported locally, but aren't official until confirmed by the master server at the end of the track.

Maybe it wasn't accepted by the master server, but only the server's admin might be able to see that in the xaseco2.log.

Sounds like something that applies to lots of tracks at that time then, and thus could lead to a lot of maintenance to fully address. Don't have cycles for that.

It's a bug in the MP3 dedicated server, which has been reported to Nadeo in the closed beta forum. The quick fix above will bypass the problem temporarily until they release a fixed dedicated.

Bypass = temporarily prevent the problem by applying the fix. Nobody said anything about paying.
Complain to Nadeo (who dont read this forum, so do it elsewhere) to get the problem in the dedicated server fixed sooner. Maybe.
