Records fail to save on maps using a single item exceeding 1MB
Dedimania records fail to save for this map of mine:
https://tm.mania-exchange.com/tracks/15 … rship-down
The only thing different about the map is that it uses a single item which exceeds the 1MB limit for the game. I used OpenPlanet to save the map, so that I could exceed the limit. Players without OpenPlanet can play the map.
The map is on the Smurfen Canyon server and it's been played many times. But the records never get saved to Dedimania.

Re: Records fail to save on maps using a single item exceeding 1MB
So it seems to be any map that goes over the 1MB embed limit, not just ones with a single item over 1MB.
For example, this map has no Dedimania records:

Collectively, the items in the map go over the 1MB embed limit. But no individual item goes over 1MB.

Re: Records fail to save on maps using a single item exceeding 1MB
So, my last post wasn't entirely true. I've since made a map that has 1.8 MBs of embedded items, and it works fine with dedimania.

Dedi recs:

But recently I've heard of people playing RPGs that don't go over the embed limit at all, and their records are refused.
