Hi there,

I've got a problem with TM2 and the dedimania.

Does anyone know what's going on?

I've the following setup in dedimania.xml:

That server login does not exist in database (that dedicode is for another server login, not this one)
Go on http://dedimania.net/tm2stats/?do=register and register your server login, then use the given dedicode.

Hi slig,

yes you're right. I should have mentioned that I changed the names in the code, don't like to post those things around.

Instead of Warblik the real name is Warnblink and for warbliker it is warnblinker. I did register the server, but somehow it doesn't work.

Any ideas?

I guess that it was a case problem, is it ok now (writing the login with the same cases at when registered) ?

Thanks for your answer, I'm pretty much helpless on this, I've tried so many things...

Even when trying it with W uppercase it doesn't work. The XASECO2 output is written all lower case anyway.

But maybe that is the reason for it, that in your system it is written Warnblinker and at some stage that is a problem? I think it goes through the first stage of the login, as if the login name is wrong it gives another message.

Seems you configured the wrong login in dedimania.xml, with a trailing '2'.
Logins should be all lowercase normally, but they are treated case-insensitively I think.

The above warnblinker2 case was only for explanation.

I did use warnblinker. Could you please make sure that in your system the login name is warnblinker, all lowercase?

Maybe another option:
Could you delete the user at maniaplanet and therefore free my TM2 key? I could then create another maniaplanet user and try it again all lowercase. Or is there a way to free the TM2 key and advise it to a new user?

Only you can delete create server account on your player page. We are not working for Nadeo and have no access to create or modify accounts

Btw, to get the "[XASECO2 Fatal Error] Dedimania misconfigured!" that you reported, it is a error in your configs: you try to use for dedimania plugin a login different than the real running one in the dedicated ! else xaseco2 would not have shown that error...

As I wrote before the Error does not acually apply for me, it was just for explanation.

Do you have any other ideas?

Perhaps that with the really tested values (except de dedicode!), and the real log, without modification, it would be easier ?...

Why changing the server login in config or log ??? Usually all server hosters want all to come on their server, not you ?...

Can you then delete it, to free the key!?

I've spend 20 € on this account, which is my second and it was intended just for the dedicated server. And now I can't use it? How much fun is there when not racing for official records!?

There is no key to free on dedimania side. Dedimania only authentify the server account created on Nadeo sites.

A server is not supposed to be started using a player account, but using a server-dedicated-account that you create on the player page : http://player.maniaplanet.com/ ( ->ADVANCED->Dedicated server ), where each player account can create 10 dedicated account (for free).

Once your dedicated server will be working using that created login, you should have it listed on http://dedimania.net/tm2stats/?do=register , then create/get the associated dedimaniacode which have to be set in the xaseco2 config.
